I grew up on the stage.
My first show was the Music Man for Brampton Musical Society, I was a grade 7 kid who commuted an hour one way for rehearsals which I thought was the biggest theatre I had ever seen. From the age of 13 – 33, I navigated performances, workshops, auditions, and classes trying to get the part and perform at my best.
As you can see, my background is rooted in the arts as a musical theatre performer which led me into a 12-year career in the corporate sector where I specialized in Client Relations.
I understand People.
As a double-certified breathwork practitioner, I understand the journey of harnessing our breath to navigate the emotional and mental bodies that can make the journey of a young performer complex and overwhelming. I work with the breath and invite my artist clients to surrender into the somatic experience, to support themselves by inviting their breath to show them the way. When we allow the breath in, we begin to understand the importance of our body and breath connection – to be present and clear in our embodiment of any artistic piece we have taken on.
