Frankincense is also known as the “ God” Scent. It comes from a tree indigenous to the Middle East & Africa and has been traded for over 5,000 years. Used by the Egyptians for a multitude of purposes, The history of Frankincense usage also has Medieval roots and is closely linked with being burned in sacred places and religious rituals.
This is an oil that is important for grounding and protection. When we place it on our chakra points we are calling in the protection properties of the oil for our energetic bodies. This is also an oil that I place under the nose of my clients and myself when I need additional support in grounding after a ceremony, meditation or breathwork.
This is my ultimate most important oil on my altar and in my bag all the time!
Notes: A base note with a medium aroma, this Frankincense Essential Oil has a warm and spicy, smokey and woody aroma.
Blends well with: Basil, Bergamot, Cardamom, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Cinnamon Bark, Clary Sage, Coriander, Geranium, Myrrh and Vanilla.
Cautions: Dilute before use with a carrier oil. For external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
